When you use OrderPulse, we collect the following information:
- Account information: Email address and authentication data when you sign up or sign in via Google OAuth or email/password.
- Email data: If you connect a Gmail account, we read your emails to detect and extract order confirmation details. We only access emails matching order-related patterns and do not store full email bodies.
- Order and inventory data: Order details, tracking numbers, shipment status, and inventory items you add or that are auto-detected from your emails.
- Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the app (page visits, feature usage).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the OrderPulse service
- To scan connected email accounts for order confirmations and shipping updates
- To track shipment status via third-party carrier APIs
- To fetch current market prices for your inventory items via eBay
- To send you order status alerts via Discord (if configured)
- To improve and maintain the service
3. Third-Party Services
OrderPulse integrates with the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Database and authentication hosting. Your data is stored securely with row-level security.
- Google / Gmail API: Used to read order confirmation emails from your connected Gmail account. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- EasyPost: Used to fetch real-time shipment tracking data from carriers.
- eBay Browse API: Used to fetch current market prices for sealed Pokémon products.
- Discord: Used to send order status notifications if you configure a webhook.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security (RLS) enabled, meaning each user can only access their own data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Revoke Gmail access at any time via your Google Account settings
- Export your data
